Christmas in the Spring

Quick re-cap of Christmas for us...

Christmas Eve we did the usual.  We went to my parents for lunch, church, pancakes, and gifts!  It was a great time with all of our family, and we had a new little one to share the experience with. (My older brother had another son, Chase Aaron, born in July)  Here are some pictures of the highlights!

Christmas Day Mason had some goodies from Santa to explore and play with, and then we had the grandparents (both mine and nick's parents) over for brunch and a few more presents.  This is a new tradition we are hoping to start.  Because my parents do everything Christmas Eve, all of Nick's family except for his parents are in Chicago, and we want Mason to still get to have a special Christmas morning at home, this worked amazingly well!  I really hope we can continue this for years to come.  Pictures from our fabulous Christmas!

The day after Christmas we went to Santa's Wonderland.  Mason had a blast!

Winter/Christmas

Finally getting around to share some of our holiday season!

Annual trip to the Christmas tree farm!

Mason loved his window decals! He played with them every single day!

Making cookies from scratch with our favorite people, Eric and Jackie!

We do a ginger bread house every year.  This year it turned into a huge family event that got very competitive.  We made a village and so much fun!  I especially love that Mason gets to experience things with all of his grandparents at once!

I will hopefully have Christmas Eve and day up soon!

Better Late Than Never...

It has been a very long time since I last updated, and so much has happened!  Be prepared for lots pictures and a quick re-cap of Christmas!

Christmas 2012:

We always do Christmas Eve at my parents.  Mason turned into a present opening pro!  I have no idea how because we had not practiced, and the last time he opened gifts was his birthday in June.

I love this picture!  Mason loves his Grandad, and I'm pretty sure my dad feels the same about him!

Christmas Morning:
Mason went straight to his workbench and tools!  It turned out really cute, and I'm so happy he loves it!

We had a wonderful Christmas at home, and later that afternoon Nick's parents came over with more gifts!
